The Bear suspension will throw you around if you aren't on the taller/bigger side. I agree with the person in the pic, Bear is a big bike, I think made with 6ft Westerners in mind. Some bikes are suitable for taller riders, and some are for shorter riders. That's common sense, why will bike companies specify weights?

The suspension is definitely stiff and again designed for high-speed western roads, I think. It eats up bumps at high speeds but will bounce you at lower speeds.
