The root of the problem is India’s relentless population growth, driven by forced marriages and forced childbirth. There’s no real concern for the quality of life, just a blind obsession with reproduction.

For the past 70–80 years, India has done little beyond producing more people, without considering its limited resources, lack of technological progress, or overall stagnation. There’s no emphasis on improving human capital or genetics, leading to a population that, on average, lacks the skills and intelligence needed for real progress.

Instead of a demographic dividend, India is dealing with a demographic crisis—too many people, too few opportunities, and a declining quality of life.

Meanwhile, this endless supply of cheap labor benefits only the elites and the West, who exploit it while the country remains stuck in poverty and mediocrity.

You would think that in a country with bad roads and the biggest population that people would be a bit more careful about what they do on road but nope. People are freaking stupid here. People walk onto highways without looking, try to cross busy roads on foot at some random point, turn and brake without looking in the mirror. These stupidity will never stop and that's the truth.




Its just frustrating to drive/ride in India.

You do you man. If you feel that riding is not for you then it is a very mature decision. Most people won’t admit it. I have a friend who has been getting into small accidents like skids and falling due to locking his front brakes for the past decade. I’m not exaggerating. This guy just doesn’t learn. But he doesn’t stop riding. Honestly he is the type of person who should as he is mostly a danger to himself. However he doesn’t recognise that riding is not for him.

If you genuinely feel that this incident is too much for you to get over then perhaps you should follow your instincts. Perhaps you’ll regain your confidence some time in the future or maybe you never will. That’s a question for later. If riding right now or in the near future won’t bring you joy, then best to cut your losses and stop riding. Hope you make the right choice.

People are stupid but there are many of us who enjoy different cultures and appreciate them. It's a whole new experience for us.
