If this was done in good spirits from all sides, this is just entrainment. I know the amount of studies and academics IITians have to do, it's good to have some fun from time to time.

1. It's normal an admirable to have drive. Don't stress about having a strict "plan" - since you are driven you will definitely obtain skills and expertise along your journey, even if it's not a straight line. None of those experiences will be "wasted" time because personal experience is it's own type of important.

2. Try running ANY type of business at all, even for a few months. I've been in tech startups for 13 years... I would rather take on new staff that has run a lemonade stand or a dog walking business than a PhD who's never had real responsibilities. The DOING is more important than the planning. Literally pick a business you could start this weekend, pick up an idiots guide to business and just plain start. Pay attention to the stuff you hate doing and the stuff that is so little emotional effort that you could do it endlessly.

3. Go work at a startup that has a few dozen employees. Ask the leadership if you can be included in a variety of meetings just to watch and learn. Seeing the burdens and the boring parts up close will be WAY more useful than listening to a million podcasts.

4. Take advice from people with personal experience DOING the thing. Their are a shit ton of people talking out their ass about what "society should do about XYZ" but meanwhile they can't find their own ass even if they use both hands.

If body count matters to you then yea you should be worried.

If it doesn't and you wanna keep dating then before doing THE deed both of you should get tested for STDs.
