If it isn’t going to push you financially, just go ahead and buy the flat as long as you’re looking to stay there long term. How does it matter if it appreciates or depreciates if you aren’t really going to sell it in the next 20-30 years?

Also, the depreciating asset logic doesn’t really make sense. My dad bought a flat for 18L, which is now worth at least 90L. That’s around FD levels return, and slightly less than inflation. But we’ve lived there for 25 years and so have utilised the hell out of it. Unless we’re in dire needs, we aren’t going to sell it so it doesn’t matter if my flat is worth 90L or 9L now.

This is why I always defend MS the company on this sub, despite disliking a few of their cars. Last year, we replaced the real suspension set on our swift but they did not give us the replaced (old) parts. We raised a complaint against the branch, they immediately came home and delivered the parts and offered a free car wash + general service the next time. Then we got a call from MS asking if our issue was resolved.


Their showroom experience however leaves a bad taste. Because they know their cars will sell anyway, they don't show much interest. We were interested in the XL6 but decided against it after no response on test drive from their side.

I kind of disagree with it -

3. The impact of AI on outsourced service-based work is a topic of discussion. All such work will be equally affected by advancements in AI.
4. Recently, Google announced plans to build a large Global Capability Center (GCC) in Gurgaon, with more companies planning similar moves in the future. For Western companies looking to reduce costs, leveraging the existing IT infrastructure in India to handle more than just outsourced work could be a new strategy. This could create a seamless workflow, with top IT talent in India moving into GCCs, making it easier and more cost-effective to manage both GCCs and outsourced work from a single location.

P.S. - I'm not from the IT field, so I might be wrong in some areas, but these are my thoughts on what Western companies might do to reduce overall costs.

In my own exp, Maruti, specially nexa have a great service experience.
