It was a total disaster with a long queue to enter the mall (it continued few hundred meters from the gate as well). So, made a decision there to not visit any crowded place on public holidays/festivals. Covid also supported my decision...

Following are my recommendations

1. Mazar, good non vegetarian afghani food, crowded during weekends and evening, a must visit for non veg lovers
2. Bihar Central, its a restaurant for both vegetarian as well as non vegetarian, amazing coal fired litti and chokha.
3. Bhagwan Das Mishthaan Bhandar, its near Gurudwara Krishna market, you'll love the samosas served here.
4. Anna Dosa, a decent south Indian restaurant, very easy on pocket and a taste that will not make you fall in love with the food, but will not dissappoint you either.
5. Anandji Chole Bhature, the best chole bhature I have ever had, go before 3pm, their chale bhature get over by then.
6. Ram Laddoo, its right there in the central market, everyone knows about it, worth trying.
7. Jhakkas Bombay Pao Bhaji, right across Ram Laddoo, the food is amazing.
8. QDs, the OG Tandoori momo, I am a fan of chicken tandoori momo and hence I am putting it here.
9. Concept Shawarma, oh my god, you cannot miss this, go there grab a Shawarma and enjoy.
10. Sitaram Pakodewala, this is right in middle of Krishna Market, their soya chap is amazing.

Yes you can go solo also as the trek level is not difficult or hectic. Trail will be good but can’t say anything as there are chances of snow in high passes so kindly carry your winter jackets and all the necessary equipment and the main thing is trekking shoes.
