Can Mumbai be so polluted?
Pollution is through the roof. It's only due to the insane pollution in the delhi region that this is not being talked about enough. It is extremely unhealthy. I think it's due to lack of persistent strong breeze that the pollution is so high currently. -
What would it take Congress to get rid of the Gandhi siblings in the leadership and have some common sense patriot as their face?
Reddit is a liberal circlejerk echo chamber (by company policy ofc)
Folks here will talk about how BJP is right wing/RSS exist etc and how that is bad for India while completely ignoring the fact it’s Indians who are showing preference by voting these people in power.
Secularism/progressive ideology turned out to be a disaster not only in India but pretty much everywhere on Earth and people can see that despite all the censorship attempts hence the voting inclinations.
Democracy doing its thing thankfully. Congress does not need a new face its needs to die out already, the colonial experiment is over. -

How do you, as a right wingers, feel about the fact that Bhagat Singh was a socialist?
I consider myself a centre-right progressive and I think I shouldn't judge him by my principles. He was loyal to his ideas, and the effect of his actions as well as the intent was for a good I do support. -

History of migration in Kottayam and Pathanamthitta
They are victims of their own success. Both are Christian dominated areas who got well educated, had early opportunities and the mindset to migrate to countries like US and Gulf, that matched their skill sets i.e. mostly nursing, teachers etc. Nursing was not considered attractive for other communities and they didn't latch on to the opportunity.
Recent migrations from the Christian belt is a different phenomenon, still based on the window of opportunity, but also based on concerns about their future role in Kerala. The fear comes from possible political and religious insignificance. That was not the case in 70s-90s. -
How do you, as a right wingers, feel about the fact that Bhagat Singh was a socialist?
I'm an unapologetic right winger and for me, Bhagat Singh will remain a national hero forever. It doesn't matter what his ideology was. He put our country before himself or his ideology.
Incidentally, he was hanged for avenging the death of Lala Lajpat Rai, a right winger with whom Bhagat Singh never saw eye to eye. Do I need say anything more?
