One dude I know from Bangladesh had the most suffocating partners ever. Dad's someone big, so no matter where this guy goes, he'd always get special treatment due to his dad's status, and many times he's gotten into trouble for thinking that people are genuinely caring about him but later he gets railed by his dad because these people have come to him for "payment" for taking care of his son. So the kid basically migrated overseas, did everything he could to stay (illegally) just so he could feel like he's living his own life.

Even your phone can make use of GPS without internet by directly communicating with the satellite. It’s just way too slow and not very useful for most things (navigation etc). You can try using google maps without internet to get your current coordinates (will take more than 10 minutes if it’s a cold start). One workaround to this is to use a different protocol that uses mobile data/ wifi to communicate with a google server that in turn does most of the calculations and communication instead of the satellite. So basically, coordinates can be directly received from a satellite but to use them to construct maps, routes etc, you need to connect to a server and hence, data.

Not sure about this but one thing is for sure.

Hi OP, I live right by Malviya Nagar. Would suggest not getting a house around saket, it's quite unsafe. Get it in a good locality in Malviya Nagar it would still be 10 mins max for you to travel. If you're worried about rent you can share with someone it's cheaper that way. But Freedom fighter, Ignou road are a big no no, I know many people who regret making an agreement there.
