I, as a Mizo, have also experienced it from the other side. Most Assamese nowaday have started harboring favorable opinions and views of tribals. But there are still many that view us as unwashed savages who are polluted and they are pure.

And as this post has shown, our side isn't all safe either. Mizo and other tribal people can be very xenophobic and outright racist in many cases. Let us hope we all learn to be better.

I had misophonia as well as hyperacusis. You need to cure your fear of sound by slowly incorporating back sounds into your life. Increase the volume on your TV by +1 each day. This is how I cured my misophonia and hyperacusis. I used to go around with ear protection just like you which only worsens your misophonia. Fix it or else you will be miserable with no way out.

The problem with metal companies is that their profits are entirely dependent on the price of the metals they produce.

IMFA produces ferro chrome and you can see that their profit tracks the international price of ferro chrome

2015-16 - prices were low and hence their OPM was low and went in losses

2017 - the prices spiked and you can see the OPM went up and so did their profits

2018-19 - prices stabilised and their profits stabilised although you can it decline towards end of 2019

2020 - covid year , prices crashed and they went into lossed..


2021-22 - prices rebounced and their margins and profits picked up

2023-24 - prices remained between 1.3 to 1.6 USD per pound and they could generate good profits with that prices


Given the economic outlook for 2025 and the fact that demand from china is coming down, I think they will struggle in the next couple of years.


Metal companies have high fixed cost and for them to make money, they need their output to be above a certain price level but given that demand for metals are cyclical, they tend to go through cycles of boom and bust.. So that is the reason these companies have a low P/E..


This may be a fundamentally solid business but do not expect any high returns..
