Both ADMK and DMK have 25% voter base at bare minimum. They may not get anything as it is already confirmed voters.

Only the swing voters belonging to certain booths who keep oscillating will be the target audience. This might translate to 15% of the total voter base.

Depending on last minute freebees or some promises, 5% will be added give or take.

Total eligible voters - 6.18cr as per Jan 2024

% of polling usually - 70% which is 4.32cr because the rest DGAF.

% of swing voters - 15% - roughly 65 lakh voters

Bribing these 65 lakh voters with 1000 per head across 234 constituencies costs roughly 650cr overall.

Voter target per constituency - 2775 roughly

Giving 1000 per voter costs 2.77cr per constituency. Easy peasy!

These numbers will vary as per the tough fight given by the other side. For instance, PTR never gave a single piece to anyone. So the funds will be redirected elsewhere to high profile constituency where a heavy weight is pitted against.

Some constituencies are saamikku vittadhu where everyone knows the party can't win no matter what. So they may not do much there.
