The 1940 Indian gen and the current 2024 Indian gen switch places, What do you think would happens?
If it were 1940, we would be part of British Raj, and the world just got caught into WW2. Yeah, nice experiment. At least today's generation will know what the world has gone through, especially after they see the horrors of Battle of Stalingrad or Battle of Bulge. -
Why Jasmine Crockett’s Latest Comments On DEI Hit Home: Rep. Crockett really struck a nerve — and revealed an uncomfortable reality about our workforce.
I keep thinking that these corporations could easily fight this "order", it's clearly not legal. Yet most are caving, the NCAA just caved, Google,Target, the list goes on. One might almost suspect they don't *want* to fight it, because this actually fits their hidden ethos, Straight White Men over everybody!! -

When am I supposed to buy a house in this economy
When buying a house first decide the intention behind it, is it for self or few investment. You would know how much care you will put into selecting a house based on the amenities available. Eg. If you are buying for yourself you may expect the house to have a lift or generation or security or road facilities or amount of ventilation etc. If you are going to rent it off you would be fine to skip a few of the things since you are not personally going to suffer if it is not available.
Next is to see how much you can commit to it. Sure your salary will increase but you will get married and that will add a dent(again assuming you are planning to self finance everything). Followed by all family responsibilities.
Don't just the gun but at the same time don't wait out too long. I expect buying houses to increase in demand after the budget was announced. -
The DETAILS of the very dress Sufi hated on
The dress is actually an homage to vintage Pakistani designs of the 80s, the colour palette is reminiscent of the ones our moms used to wear on their wedding day as red was not a staple back then. The shape of the short kameez with the lehnga is also a very traditional Pakistani style as cholis were never worn in Pakistan with lehngas before current times. It's a silhouette very steeped in our traditions. -

Ive been over complicating investing for years...
Overcomplicating is the fastest way to lose. Buying good companies, selling options, and collecting premiums beats chasing hype every time. Simple works—most people just don’t have the patience for it. -
The DETAILS of the very dress Sufi hated on
Whenever i see sufi’s reels i report it as bullying and harassment.because that’s what he does. A boy with zero fashion sense bullying other people on the internet. The irony😂 -

The best air in India is from Kerala, yet it's as bad as smoking one cigarette
In my last visit to Kerala a few months ago, what caught my attention was the slow pace of road work and traffic kicking off the fine dust from the road surface with asphalt.
I strongly believe rather than tailpipe emissions from vehicles, the suspended fine dry dust is what is causing the sudden decline in air quality at lower altitudes in the recent times.
I used to drive around 3k kms a month across kerala before the NH works started. The air filters (engine and cabin) in the car would still be in pretty good shape for around 7.5k kms usually. But last time around, it was mostly clogged in just 1.2k kms driving from tvm to kannur and back through roads under construction/widening.
I hope if they wrap up everything soon and clear out the dust, the aqi would improve. It is not like we had wildfires or rapid industrialization happening in a span of a year. -
