Help needed with UPL Rights Issue: At what price do I have to apply?

[https://www.chittorgarh.com/rights-issue/upl-rights-issue-2024/334/](https://www.chittorgarh.com/rights-issue/upl-rights-issue-2024/334/) I have 4 REs for UPL in my account and I wish to apply for the rights issue. The price seems to be rs 360 per share, But on SBI's website it shows "Rights issues price: 90 INR" So do i have to apply at 90 rs or at 360 rs? If at 90 then how will they take the payment for the balance (ie Rs 270) Also can i apply for more than 4 shares? Please help.

Will Bajaj Housing Finance Recover or Continue to Slide After Today's Sharp Drop of 6.2%?

Bajaj Housing Finance's shares fell sharply today due to the expiration of the three-month lock-in period for anchor investors, making 12.6 crore shares tradable, which increased the supply in the market. Additionally, weak overall market sentiment added to the pressure. What are your thoughts or insights on the future movement of the stock? Share your own analysis.

Closing old dormant demat account - Ridiculous AMC charges

I had a demat account opened long time back and it has been dormant (no activity) since past 9 years. I tried closing it recently through broker app but my closure request was rejected and they told to contact their customer care. When I contacted customer care, they said my closure request was rejected due to past AMC dues. They were charging AMC every year on my dormant demat account resulting in total unpaid dues of around 3000. Do I need to pay such ridiculous AMC fees for closing...

I have received UPI mandate after 30 mins of just 1 lot i.e, 14820 whereas the total amount of 7 lot is 103740. Please help as this is my first time applying for IPO. And also zerodha allows 3 bids, is it useful or should I just place one bid of 7 lots at cutoff price?...

How did Adani Green moved up 9% even before the BSE Corp. Announcement? Insider Trading??

I have noticed that Adani Green Rajasthan deal of 250 MW. Solar plant was announced on BSE at 11:28 AM and on NSE at 11:31 AM. So how did Adani Green shares surged one hour before the announcement i.e. at 10:30 AM itself and that too with such huge volumes? Is there anything else that I have missed? Can anyone explain please? TY

Why are IT stocks in demand today as Nifty IT hits a record high, surpassing 46,000?

However, LTIM and Mphasis both are losing strength and are moving towards the weakening quadrant. Weakening Quadrant: Coforge and TCS are in the weakening quadrant, with TCS appearing weaker than Coforge. Lagging Quadrant: LTTS, HCL Tech, and...

    Vedanta - avoid or consider?

Pros: 1. Irregular but net positive profits despite losses reported in some quarters 2. Good dividend payout 3. FIIs increased shareholding from 8.6% in December 2021 to 11.45% in September 2024 Cons: 1. Promoter holding has decreased over the last quarter: -2.93% 2. Promoters have pledged 100% of their holding. The most worrying concern is the entire holding being pledged. The share price has also shown a decent increase over the past few weeks and FOMO is taking over. What needs to be done? Buy in small quantities or...

    VVM IPO?

As you know, VMM is launching its IPO, and opinions are quite mixed. Some believe it's a knockoff of DMart for Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, while others see it as a potential multibagger. The IPO allotment price is set between ₹74 and ₹78, with a minimum lot size of 190 shares, valuing the company at ₹8,000 crore. I was considering investing, as it seems like a solid company with consistent profits and decent financials. However, I have a few questions: 1) What is the company’s strategy to...

    Market on Dec 12, 2024

Daily Journal: US markets had a mixed session yesterday. Dow closed in red. Nasdaq in green. Futures are trading in red. US 10Y Bond Yield is at 4.2%. Brent Oil is at 73$. Dollar index jumps back above 106. Asian markets are mixed. Consider global cues as neutral for today. India's inflation data for November will be out today. This could be a small trigger for the markets. Nifty remains in consolidation. However there are good stock specific moves in the market. I think the main trigger for the...

I am in a dilemma. Buy Gold biscuit or buy Gold ETF for really long term (20y). I think India is going in super inflation territory due to obvious internal external reasons.

Points in favor of 24K Gold Biscuit. -After import Duty reduced Gold price is almost same as international price. Huge Gold customs Duty will be back soon after last SGBs are paid back by Govt. - Tax will be paid by whoever seller is. -Many jewellers are OK with just 1%melting charge. -Gold bees the only liquid etf under consideration have expense ratio of whooping 0.81% yearly. Which will eat up principal and profits yearly till perpetuity. Very poor trust in govts in taxing fairly(no hope of inflation adjusted...
