Hosting a meetup (focussed around tech) on 26th Jan (Sunday) - 12 Noon to 2 PM at Zongri Bakery & Cafe, Gangtok I made an [another post](https://www.reddit.com/r/sikkim/comments/1i50s06/thinking_of_hosting_an_inperson_tech_meetup_in/) a few days ago while I was considering this idea. Surprisingly, more people reached out with their interest in my DM than in comments and I now have enough people confirmed to finalise a date & time. As mentioned in my older post, it will be small 2-3 people (at least) of 7-8 people max. Donation Hello.. since I will be leaving Gangtok in a few months I would like to donate some of my stuff. Since it will difficult to take all of this back home or leave it at my rented house. I have seen people throw bags of clothes on the roadside or drains.. I don't know why.. Aren't there any NGO's or anything in Gangtok area that take useful household items, books, clothes etc as donation for the underprivileged who live either in Sikkim or outside Sikkim. 4 3 replies

Dzongri winter trek Guys I have planned Dzongri trek in the first week of February. I have 3 people apart from me but can accomodate 4 more people. The trek will start from yuksum on 2nd Feb and will be a 5 day trek and will cover dzongri la and dzongri top. The cost of the trek will be around 10 to 11k per person. Thinking of hosting an in-person tech meetup in Gangtok. Will you be able to join? For 8-9 years when I was in Delhi and Bangalore, I met many interesting people and explored many new skills & ideas through attending meetups. Later I even volunteered, organised and spoke at some meetups and tech conferences. It been almost 7 months, I moved here and now I somewhat miss those. I would like it to be simple meet and greet and random tech related chats.
