North Sikkim closed for 20 days ? I''ve just been informed that lachen is completely closed due to landslides. I've also been told that none of the places as per my itenary would be open for next 20 days (gurudongmar lake, zero point, yumthang valley). My flight is scheduled to leave on Monday (23/12/24). I'm only 25 but people have started calling me "bhaiya" Man, I thought younger generations of Sikkimese folks learned to be better, but they, disappointingly, haven't. Even visibly older people have referred to me as "bhaiya" when I've sat at my father's shop sometimes. Lived my whole life here and I never thought I'd get called "bhaiya" one day😓. Just a harmless rant.
