Setting pages to draft/deleting pages on wordpress. I want to create 5 new service pages, which are only offered at certain times of the year. If I create these pages and input all the content, when the time comes that im not offering that specific service at this time, should I set the page to draft? Should I delete it? How do you go about this? I assume if I set it to draft or delete it that I will have SEO issues such as 404's. Setting to draft might make more sense, but wouldnt this... 5 0 replies
Ahrefs AI Content Helper and Content Grader - What's everyones experience? Has anyone tried Ahrefs' AI Content Helper or AI Content Grader and seen positive results from the recommendations provided? I’m currently working with an e-commerce client and considering using these tools while following their advice. I’d love to hear if anyone has experience implementing the suggestions and whether they’ve seen meaningful improvements on their pages based on the competitor analysis from the tool. Backlinks While I know that Google still has some level of favoritism on backlinks for SEO I think it may be safe to say that new backlinking and new properties trying to gain a foothold are in a more perilous position than ever. All I ever see with competitor sites are bulk buying of backlinks from indifferent or content farm sites and adds no value from the audience’s perspective. With the reduction of people searching overall, at least as their primary source at times, I’m just really curious of the... 3 0 replies
URL Mapping From Old Domain To New Domain Hello, We have a client that has a couple hundred pages on their current website, but they have recently rebranded and have switched company names. I know in GoDaddy you can forward the root domain to another domain as a permanent 301 redirect, but I was wondering if anyone has ever found an efficient way to do 1 to 1 mapping where we could redirect individual pages/posts to the corresponding page/post on the new domain? 3 0 replies
Which Domain? Bought a couple of domains yesterday, and looking for some advice on which one to go with. This is a long term personal project, not a client project. I live near a very tourist-focused town in Spain. I want to build out a site with reviews, directory listings, advice etc and monetise through various channels. Would you go with [allaboutTOWN.com](http://allaboutTOWN.com) or loveTOWN.com? Just for a bit of clarity, there are 4m searches per month on this location. 3 0 replies
GSC clicks have tanked, but GA Sessions are stable. what would cause this? Hey, noticed an issue in GSC today where clicks to the homepage on our site have tanked (not to zero but close). Though in GA, homepage sessions & revenue are stable and on checking rankings manually i can't see that anything has dropped. Could this be a tracking issue of some kind? GSC says that the URL (the non www. version) is not available for indexing due to it being a 'duplicate without user selected canonical' and is instead selecting the www. version as the canonical despite it redirecting... 4 0 replies
Best Technology for pulling sitemaps Does anyone have any good suggestions for technology that pulls sitemaps (and, as an added bonus, the pages they are linking to)? I want to redo some sitemaps and website structures. I know I can see the sitemap, but I am really looking for something more in-depth. (yes I am actively trying to research one to but wanted some other insights) 1 0 replies
How does Google rank Amazon products in SERPS? It's been a few years since I've done any SEO, I know much has changed. I actually have an Amazon business, and a competitor ranks in Google for our main keywords. I threw the Amazon link in a backlink checker, and there are no backlinks. They have no social media either. Their company website doesn't have any outbound links, no address or phone number. I would like to start an off-site set campaign to get my product to replace theirs in the google serps, but there is very little... 2 0 replies
Incorrect word in url - best way forward? Help! Hello! I have a great client who got advice early in building their shop to add a keyword to all of their pages. Let’s say it was “pine scented candles” when really the candle is lavender scented. They were given this advice because that keyword, at the time, had better search volume, and so, this is everywhere. In copy, titles, H1, H2, and the URL itself. I have gotten the green light to remove the words, which I am comfortable doing across the board—BUT since they are in the... 3 0 replies
what courses can help me as an SEO improve my content proofreading and reviewing skills... Hey fellow SEOs! I'm struggling with a common issue. Our content writers produce great copy, but they often neglect to follow SEO guidelines, even after I provide detailed insights on user intent, tonality, and keyword placement. How can I deal with this? Our process is straightforward: content writers submit their work, content editors review it, and then it lands on my desk for optimization. However, I've noticed that the writers rarely implement my suggestions, such as using specific keywords in certain sections or linking to the right pages with... 4 0 replies
Thoughts on GSC 24H view? Unless you’re a media outlet, personally, I wouldn’t give much importance to the new 24-hour view in Google Search Console. I don’t understand why so many SEO experts are rushing to talk about it as if it’s revolutionary. SEO is a marathon, not a sprint. If you’re waking up every morning to check if your traffic has gone up or down compared to the day before, you’re not looking at things from the right perspective. When people ask me: What’s a good click-through rate? A good conversion rate? A... 5 0 replies
SEO Work Feeling Subjective to Google? Hey fellow SEO's, I have an odd feeling i want to discuss with everyone. I'm an SEO manager for an agency and, most of my clients are local service-based. I've sort of been bummed out with SEO as a career lately, and maybe it's just the clients I work with idk. With the intro of AI overviews and other Google updates, my ongoing work is less important now. Most of these clients are pretty well off and mostly need maintenance, but even then, sometimes I think, ok, let's optimize some... 2 0 replies
Do I have the right idea with images? I have 12 service areas. Each area gets its own page. Then within that area 20-30 neighbourhoods get their own page. Theres 3 images per page. I add alt text and description. So now I need different images on each page. We now have 900 images needed on the website. Should I be reusing images? Is it okay to have this many images? Am I doing this right? 2 0 replies

Looking for On Page SEO optimization specialist As the title says. It's a pretty small vanilla WordPress website that is trying to get off the ground. Blog style/how-to. No newsletter, payment gateways, etc. I have run into issues with Google blacklisting/not indexing pages. Trying to optimize with several streams of revenue. I will provide more details of the site over DM for privacy. I would ask those who are interested in the opportunity to perform a brief evaluation of the site to identify what they believe the biggest problem areas are for improvement or optimization would... 5 0 replies

Are less relevant keywords worth it? How *wide* do you cast your "net" if you've covered the lower KD% keywords *most* relevant to your business? (I don't want irrelevant traffic). Anyone else feel like a fraud? I have only been working in SEO for 3 years. The first two, I worked at an agency that focused on local businesses. I excelled at first and was labeled as a big problem solver at my old job. Now, I got an offer at an enterprise agency and feel inferior to my colleagues who have at least a decade of experience on me. I feel like I add no value to our team and everything I know is surface level or dated. I don’t know how I even... 3 0 replies
