Does my blog have to be in the nav for SEO purposes? Hey there! Total newbie to SEO and I'm wondering if my blog has to be in the navigation bar to help with SEO. Is there any advantage at all to have it up there? On that same note, I have a services drop down menu for my video production site. I have about 30ish different services that I offer. I have a page for each service. Should they all be in that drop down menu or can I just put like my 5 top services and then an "Other... 2 0 replies
Orphan pages of a News/Publishing/Magazine Site. What to do? Our client is a News/Publishing/Magazine business with 8 sites. One thing that we've noticed is that they have a lot of orphan pages. They have thousands of pages from 2005-2018 which we see as old pages that might not be helpful now. My teams initial plan is to deindex/remove from sitemap/delete the old pages (which I tend to disagree, because I said that if it is a publishing site, even the page/news is old it is still important to the website because they are publishing company) and with the... 1 0 replies
AI-gen posts seem to get a fine amount of impressions. Will there be a backfire? The title says it all. Now I spend more time on keyword research, customer persona study, and structure the whole blog rather than taking care of individual content. I do edit the AI-generated article before publishing it, making sure it's not to weird or misinforming. So far, it looks like working. Will there be any backfire? 5 0 replies

How bad for SEO is a 60s mobile pagespeed score? I have already optimized everything i can think of to the max. Seems like my hosting plan currently just can't provide what i need and need a cloud option likely, however i cannot afford one right now. Given I can't upgrade to better hosting for a while, I am wondering how bad is it really for the mobile speed being in the 60s? 60-65. It's 100 on desktop. Thanks in advance!! 3 0 replies
SEO audit - literally what happens? Hey guys, I'm building my career in SEO and I wanna know from some experienced people about what they do in a SEO audit. I'm literally asking what do you guys do? How do you proceed? I've seen many videos and did some courses, but it feels incomplete. I don't have anyone to guide or mentor in this, so any help would be great. Overall, what aspects or areas do you put in your final excel sheet? 5 2 replies
Shopify SEO: What's the best app for CSV uploading meta titles and descriptions in bulk? Hey guys - I'm tired of uploading page and product metas one by one. I have 500 products/pages. What's the best (preferably free) way to upload them in bulk with a csv? I'd like to just fill out all the info on a csv and then upload it, instead of having to click each individual page and product and set them individually. 4 0 replies

Is it bad SEO? Flashing, blinking, switching page titles from chat product (Hi, guys, I used a few adjectives to boost this question, SEO-wise, as the best and most recent results are 2021.) My site has a chat function on its Home page. The browser tab flashes the "Page Title" of the Home page, then "\[New Message\] Page Title" of the Home page. Does it affect indexing? Does it affect usability? If it's detrimental, is there a common solution to remove that second title? Some setting or app that might force one over the other, etc.? RAJ 3 0 replies

SEO for longstanding sites where SEO fell off a cliff in 2020 One of my clients has 2 websites. A connects to B, but B does not connect back to A. Their SEO fell off a cliff in 2020, and no idea why. I am not the expert on this (Rev is my forte). We are going to be adding a podcast (using Podetize), and really want to... 5 0 replies
7 SEO Lessons I've Learned in 2025 (So Far) - From Building a Competitor Analysis Tool Hey r/SEO, I've been spending a lot of time lately building a competitor keyword research tool (more on that below!), and it's really forced me to dig deep into how SEO works *today*. Here are some of the key lessons I've learned – hopefully, they're helpful to you too: 1. **Keyword Gaps Are Gold:** It's not enough to just know *what* keywords your competitors rank for. You need to know what they rank for that *you don't*. This is where the real opportunities lie. Focusing on these "gap" keywords... 3 1 replies
