Where are these paid links coming from?

It's been over 10 years since I've done any kind of SEO work. Back then there were networks like Text Link Ads were you could buy/sell links. Do those still exist? I did some searching but it looks like now there's all these agencies that build links for you. I was doing some backlink research and came across a site with a bunch of posts that contains links which are clearly paid. Some enterprise level websites have blocks in their robots.txt that disallow crawlers like Screaming Frog from crawling their website. Is there any way around this?

Organic Search Listings - Can I change the links shown?

We operate 3 Shopify stores (Australia, UK and USA) all under the same brand with basically the same catalogue of products and website content. We service our Canadian customers from our UK site as the US site only trades in USD, but if you search for the brand name with a VPN set to Canada, the organic listings include a link to our US site. I'm assuming this is due to google trying to match the links to your location, but in this case we don't want the link...

Multiple SAB, Same service type, same service area.

May not be the right place to ask, but a client who has his own SAB, has noticed that 3 of the Same businesses rank in gmb map pack for his industry. These 3 business are owned by the same entity, but there’s no other connection between them. Their gmb accounts all have different websites, phone numbers, emails, Branding etc, does google even care about this, or is it pretty common place? Updating citations - Yext?

I'm trying to update citations for Local SEO, as I am moving. I have a list of the citations by the Fiverr who did it for me (next time I'll probably use BrightLocal!). They did do a good job. Some of the citations I can't seem to access, so that I can change them. I was told that Yext could fix my citations for me?

How to create backlinks?

I hope this post will help the other bloggers too, I suck at creating backlinks, I don’t even know where to start, my research took me to write for us pages or guest posting but I’ve heard it’s not good for your blog, I see that some of the new blogs that are like 4 months old have over 6k backlinks, can anyone shed some light on it please? I feel like my blogs are getting deindexed because I do not create any backlinks.

URL is not available for Google Error: Redirect error

I changed my website's DNS server from the built-in WordPress DNS servers to the free Cloudflare DNS server to improve performance. But although this was done a week ago and everything looks correct in the Cloudflare overview, Google no longer displays my website and I can't have it crawled again due to redirect errors.

Do seo services include backlinks, if so are they just buying from others?

So I'm relatively new to SEO and I understand that backlinks are one of the most important aspects to improving rankings and building credibility. I've seen alot of businesses that sell backlinks and have heard mixed reviews about services like that. Taking over my family business's website. How do I tell if it was indexed with Google?

I'm finding that my family's website is ranking really badly so Im doing what I can as a complete beginner to boost our SEO. What I'm seeing is that submitting our sitemap to Google for indexing is a pretty key step that I'm wondering if it ever got done. How do I check that this has been done and are there negative consequences to me doing it again through my own Google console?

I’m using a shopify app, this isn’t a sales pitch so I’m not going to mention them… they have a slack channel where you can ask questions and an ai bot will answer your FAQ.
