Purandar international airport protests Came across a news about the protests by the purandar locals in front of the panchayat samiti office against the proposed Purandar international airport, As land acquisition process is set to start. Mainly demands are for the fair compensation and concerns over livelyhood. Is the accusation for the unfair compensation right? New method to scam at petrol pumps in pune. Unfortunatly i forgot to re-fill the petrol in my bike so i went on hunt for some petrol with plastic bottle. We arrived at Hindustan petrolium ( Dhankawadi ). You might know that they dont allow you to carry it in plastic bottle or so , but i managed to convince the guy. Got Rent agreement submission request. I've been registering rent agreement since year. This time I opted for new tax regime and thought of letting it be, owner is also chill. Living since years at same place. Apparently, this year, there is a drive that police station has circulated a request to all societies to submit rent agreements of all tenants (well, coincidence). Suggestions for a good place for putting up a stall in Pune. We are starting a small business of home made food items. Can anyone suggest a good place to set up a weekly stall for home made food items? We stay near Wagholi, and want to look for civilised places to set up our stall on weekends. We have experienced unhealthy behaviour from shop keepers or even vendors where we see good amount of foot fall in Kharadi and even Viman Nagar. Mundhwa bottleneck road widening? Been hearing that this road will be extended for ages but I see no further updates other than a news article here and there. Any idea as to when we can expect the widening to commence?
