Who are patels of MP?

I am looking to buy agri land in near future in MP just want to understand the rural geopolitical structure. Are patels of MP same as UP /Gujarat . In UP patels are kurmi kshatriya and in Gujarat , descendents of kurmis of proto punjab are leava and kadeva patel . Who are the patidars of MP do they carry same influence as jats in haryana/ UP /rajasthan. What is the land encroachment scene there ? Does caste politics like in UP save or make some vulnerable to land...

Gwalior – The City of Music, Bhopal – The City of Lakes, Jabalpur – Sanskardhani, Ujjain – Avantika Nagari Every major city has something interesting behind its nickname, reflecting its history and identity. But what’s with Indore? Why is its nickname linked to Mumbai? "Heart of Malwa" would have been a better nickname for Indore.
