Help with Mac video fullscreen animations Hi, I'm trying to change the animations associated with youtube videos. When the browser is not fullscreened and I fullscreen the video the window maximises and the menu bar slides left before the video fullscreens. Ideally I want the animations gone, but maybe it could be sped up. Is this possible? I have tried "reduce motion" but it only makes chrome noticeably faster. With this, Chrome still shows the window maximising but at least the sliding is gone. I don't want to use chrome if I can help it... 4 0 replies
Blurry icons on MacBook Air M3 with external monitor, same monitor works great on Air M1 I recently purchased a MacBook Air M3 13" and am encountering issues using it with an external display. For context, I also have a MacBook Air M1 13", which I connect to my Asus VA245 (a standard 24" 1080p monitor) using an HDMI cable and the Apple USB-C to HDMI adapter. Update seems to have broken scanning... I have two computers and a Canon ImageClass 424DW multifunction scanner that are all networked via ethernet. Recently, these computers were updated to the most recent version of MacOS. Shortly thereafter, I get sporadic error messages when attempting to scan documents: "The operation couldn't be completed. (com.apple.imagecapture error 4294957375.) (-9921)". Sometimes, they scan fine. Other time, one computer will be able to scan while the other will not. And still other times, neither computer will scan. I have removed and re-added the printers/scanners. I have done full uninstalls and... 1 1 replies
Plist File for Screen Saver and Password Settings I am a remote access administrator for my company. I am working on posture policies to ensure certain settings are configured on devices prior to being allowed remote access. I need to read settings from plist files to verify compliance. Which plist file contains the settings for the circled settings below? They are not in com.apple.screensaver.plist (this file is blank on my Mac), nor are they in com.apple.loginwindow.plist. How to open the Download Folder as a normal folder? As you know, click the download folder and a 'fan' of files appears, which I don't like.
