    Dysfunctional family effects on psyche

I grew up (and still live) in a dysfunctional fam. There's a lot of screaming, confrontations etc. Everyday. Over time I have developed a few traits like being hyperfocused about footsteps (to the point I can tell who's walking from the way the footsteps sound), and net doors slamming, mom's bangles jingling, etc. Those who did grow up in similar situations, wut similar traits have you developed, if any? P.S.- not a sympathy seeking post. Not asking for medical advice. Just here to know Coz I'm curious. It's interesting....

Visited kochi last week. Enjoyed and worried a lot at same time!!

Visited kochi last week for an interview. Wow!! What a place. I’m 25 and from a small town. Grew and graduated all in that town. When I visited a place like kochi I just amazed how fortunate these people are that are living and working here. But for me here I’m attending an interview for a 1500AED gulf job. When I saw everything there, it just reminded me how dumbshit my life is. I’ve literally cried at my hotel. I’ve always dreamed of a life like living in a...

Kochi to Munnar on a 125cc Scooter (with pillion)

There isn't a lot of information about this online and whatever there is people kind of say it's not possible, that the bike won't handle it, MAYBE alone but not with a pillion etc. I just wated to put out a PSA that I did it with a pillion and it was totally fine, we also had all our baggage with us so the scooter was carrying about 200kg of weight overall. At no point did the inclines feel too steep or anything along those lines. Also a lot...

    Clubhouse alternatives?

During Covid I remember Clubhouse gaining popularity and actually, it was quite good. I havent used it now for a long time. Plus I have heard now mostly it has rooms that discusses irrelevant content. Are there any good alternatives?

people who worked in banglore and kochi which one worked best for you

I’ve worked in Infopark, Kochi for a year and then spent another year working in Trivandrum. Now that I’m looking for a new job, I’m a bit confused about where to go next. I’m from Calicut, so accessibility and overall lifestyle are important factors in my decision. My experience in Kochi was quite positive. The city had a good vibe, and I made some great friends. The food was affordable and tasty, which was a big plus. Traffic wasn’t a major issue for me since I mostly commuted by...
