New plots for itv serials? itv has so many shows going on right now but I don't think any one of them truly bring the hype they used to do. I think it's because of how regressive itv is becoming. We barely have any shows promoting ambitions, working women, proper character development, grey-shaded characters, good sets, actual love between leads, etc. We used to have a lot more of this in the past where the storylines were unique like imagine current itv making a show like Madhubala and Balika Vadhu. Why did ITV stop producing OSTs? We used to have so many great OSTs produced by itv such as Hum Hai Deewane (Madhubala), Rabba Ve (Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon), In Aankhon Mein Tum (Jodha Akbar), etc. Even shows without an OST would use a single Bollywood song for the couple like Dil Ibadaat from Pyar Ki Yeh Ek Kahani. Everything in itv shows becomes about the leads Like abhir's accident and him losing the ability to walk has become about abhira's turmoil/abhimaan's divorce. Anupamaa, daily dance sequences and problematic marriages! Yeh anupamaa ko logo ko pakad pakad ke unki shadiyan karwane ka itna shauk kyun hai? Not that they last or anything.
