How effective would it be to make body cams mandatory for all indian police officers on duty ? Advantages of making body cams mandatory for police officers in India: 1. Transparency and accountability: Body cams can provide clear evidence of police actions, reducing chances of misconduct and ensuring fair treatment. 2. Curbing corruption: With actions being recorded, it becomes harder for officers to engage in bribery or unethical practices. 3. Public trust: Citizens are more likely to trust the police when they know everything is being documented. 4. Evidence collection: Body cams can capture real-time incidents, helping in legal cases and ensuring accurate accounts of events. 5.... 2 0 replies

Swiggy Delivery Nightmare!!!!! I’m absolutely frustrated with Swiggy right now. I placed a prepaid order worth ₹1200 last night. At around 11:30 PM, the order was marked as “delivered,” but guess what? I never received it. I called the delivery agent immediately after the status updated, and the moment I started explaining, he hangs up on me and doesn't pick up the call later. I thought Swiggy support would help, but nope! I reached out via chat and call, and all they told me was they can’t do anything. Excuse me? You... 4 0 replies
When Justice is Bought, the Nation is Sold On May 18, 2024, a 17-year-old boy celebrated his board results with a night of drinking and speeding in an unregistered Porsche. By 2:30 AM, his reckless driving claimed the lives of two innocent people. What followed was a shocking attempt to cover up the crime. The family used money, bribes, and connections to shield the boy. Blood samples were swapped, a local MLA stepped in, and false stories were created to shift the blame. Even the driver was forced to confess. WhatsApp messages, CCTV footage, and forensic reports... 4 0 replies
How india is allowing these apps I recently met a colleague who lost her job and isn't currently looking for new employment. When I asked her about it, she explained that she decided to leave the corporate world and is now making significantly more money than before. She mentioned finding success on apps like Tango.me and Chamet. These platforms seem to have a large number of Indian women engaging in flirtatious behavior and video calls with varying degrees of nudity. It appears some users are earning substantial amounts (1-5 lakh per month) through these interactions.... 2 0 replies

Help needed: How do you keep your Indian Parents engaged post their retirement? Hello everyone, So my mother has been an english teacher for more than 30 years in a good private school. Now that she is about to retire, we all are very worried what she will be doing with so much of time! We don’t have any financial problems as such and I earn enough to support her but we all can agree on how important it is to keep oneself engaged. She especially has had a very busy life considering she managed her school and us, her children, single... 3 0 replies

There was a slug/insect in my Bikaji Bhel-puri pack So, I was out with my friends in a nearby garden for a picnic where I opened this packet of Bikaji Mobile bhel and there was this quite large slug in it. Evidently he had access to the packet containing the bhelpuri top as its stains can be seen at the places it must have crawled to. Coming to the point, I want to ask the community what measures should I take to ensure that the Bikaji company learns about this and takes some necessary action. Should I just... 4 0 replies
Pay the price or no justice (Opinion) I feel really upset after the recent Atul Subhash incident. It’s frustrating that we have to protest and hold candle marches for months just to get justice. Even after all this effort, justice isn’t always served. Cases like Atul’s, the Pune Porsche case, and the RJ Kar College case show how people treat these incidents like trending topics. They talk about them for a while, then forget as soon as something new happens. Some people act like, “Why should we care?” and move on. But when something happens to... 3 0 replies
