Father, 66 got a PSA of 27, consulting a senior urologist for next steps

My father 66M, always had issues with his urine flow, he was aware that with age prostrate gets bigger and we need to show to a doctor. He has been consulting doctors but took a pause for 5-6 years in between. Couple of weeks back he had burning sensation and could see dry skin in his urine, we immediately consulted a near by urologist so did ultrasound and then said it was normal and have some medicines for enlarged prostrate. My dad asked about prostrate cancer, the urologist seems...

    Appreciation post!

Just an appreciation post. Had gone to financial district for some work and saw this cycling track like before. But noticed this rental shop for the first time today, rented a bicycle and cyled along the tracks for 14km or so. There is scope for improvement no doubt, but what a beautiful thing to have in a city. Wish we had more of these throughout the city. Love you Hyderabad for this!

CFBR in reddit doesn’t work like Linkedin

Guys stop commenting CFBR in reddit. It doesn’t work the way it works on LinkedIn. When someone asks for help, stop commenting CFBR and spamming it. Reddit based on a group model social network and not followers/connections model like LinkedIn and insta. So stop commenting. No one’s reddit wall gets minutely changed if you comment CFBR.

"Does caste influence fame in India? A thought from my university professor."?

I’m currently studying at one of the universities here in Hyderabad, and during a lecture, my professor made a bold statement. He said that some singers and cricketers in India are promoted more because they come from upper-caste backgrounds. At first, I brushed it off, thinking it might be an exaggeration. But the more I think about it, the more I wonder—could there be some truth to this? Does caste actually play a role in shaping fame and opportunities in fields like music and cricket? Or is this just...

Flat in city or Villa in the outskirts? Why and why not?

I like flat in the middle of the city (BH/JH), wife likes Villa in back of beyond (Tellapur, etc.). I like the idea of a villa and the space but can't afford one in the city and I definitely don't want to move to Tellapur where there's nothing around in terms of restaurants, bars, retail, etc. No kids. Anyone in the same predicament? First world problems for sure but I'd love to hear any inputs from y'all. Thank you!

Isn’t providing free drinking water mandatory in restaurants?

I’ve been under the impression that providing free drinking water in restaurants is mandatory, not just in Hyderabad but across India. I recall reading news about restaurants being fined for failing to do so. Recently, I had an unpleasant experience at a [Subway Outlet, Jubilee Hills](https://g.co/kgs/eea5KAg). When I asked for drinking water, the guy at the counter flatly refused and insisted that I buy a water bottle instead. This didn’t happen just once but twice. To top it off, he claimed that no Subway outlet provides free drinking water...

    GRE exam at Hyderabad

Hi, I’m giving my Gre exam at test centre in Hyderabad Prometric testing, Gachibowli. I read all the rules and regulations and it’s mentioned they would scan us with metal detectors. I was wondering do they really do that? If anyone have written Gre in hyd test centre please help here! Also do we get our own cubicles or is it open space without any private blocking? I tend to get distracted a lot, so trying to see if I have to change the test centre
