Why is making friends in Gurgaon so hard? Why don't these people think beyond daru/sutta (drinking/smoking)? I work in a company where almost every employee smokes and drinks. During breaks, they go to smoke and come back with the worst smell coming from their mouths. Most of the time, they talk about parties and similar things. Is my company toxic, or is it the normal culture of working? I joined a company (agency actually) in Noida as a Digital Marketing Intern. Although the official workweek is five days, tasks from upper management often spill over to Saturdays. This might be a typical agency culture, or perhaps it's a sign of a toxic work environment.
