More than the BJP's win, it is the loss of brand "Kejriwal" Yep, you heard that right! BJP did not even have a face to start off with (it never had one at State level). Some of the BJP candidates legit started their roadshows/sabhas very late, and had sparse crowds, so much so even they were not sure they'd win it this big this time. Lessons for AAP- need to regroup, think and rebrand the "Kejriwal" it gave to us Delhites back in 2013/15- a common man's hero, corruption-free, with a simple living and high thinking orientation. Some of the best elections I've seen in recent years! These elections truly amaze me, first it was the Lok Sabha Polls, and how much of a rollercoaster that was, I guess you can never predict citizens, in 2023 LS elections, I mean the way BJP were heading, it was like people will go for the 'Hindutva' wave and it will definitely cross the majority mark with ease with some predicting 400+ seats, and when the results came in, oh boy! It's shameful how "Women Safety" was not even an issue in elections Delhi is literally called the "Rape Capital" and still no party even cared to even talk about it. I wonder what is even Delhi police's role in making this city safe? Women are bound to social conditioning in the name of religion. It's so easy to just harass a women, eveteasing has become a norm. Especially during festivals. But unfortunately no one cared, no one cared to even talk about it.What an unfortunate situation not just for people in Delhi but the whole country.
