How to update your address in your Aadhaar card in Delhi
Step 1: Visit the official UIDAI website: Go to the official website of UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) at https://uidai.gov.in.
Step 2: Locate the 'Aadhaar Update' section: Look for the 'Aadhaar Update' section on the UIDAI website homepage.
Step 3: Click on 'Update Address': Click on the 'Update Address' option under the 'Aadhaar Update' section.
Step 4: Enter your Aadhaar number: Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number in the provided field and click on 'Send OTP' to receive a one-time password (OTP) on your registered mobile number.
Step 5: Enter the OTP: Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number in the given field and click on 'Submit'.
Step 6: Choose the address update option: Select the 'Address' option to update your address in the Aadhaar card.
Step 7: Provide the new address details: Fill in the new address details accurately in the provided fields. Make sure to enter the correct address information.
Step 8: Upload supporting documents: Upload scanned copies of the required supporting documents as proof of address. Accepted documents may include a utility bill, bank statement, or rental agreement.
Step 9: Review and submit: Review all the entered details and ensure they are correct. Click on 'Submit' to proceed.
Step 10: Book an appointment: After submitting the form, you will be redirected to a new page to book an appointment at your nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra (ASK).
Step 11: Visit the Aadhaar Seva Kendra (ASK): Visit the selected Aadhaar Seva Kendra on the scheduled date and time along with the necessary documents.
Step 12: Verification and biometrics: At the ASK, your documents will be verified, and your biometrics (fingerprint, iris scan) will be captured for authentication.
Step 13: Acknowledgment slip: Once the process is complete, you will receive an acknowledgment slip with an update request number for future reference.
