Just gave my driving test today, no wonder the roads are full of idiots! So I went to the local RTO office to give my test. Was expecting an instructor to sit with me and check to see how I was driving, signalling, following rules etc. Instead, the guy just tells me to go straight, take a U turn and comeback. That's it, literally didn't even sit in the car with me. Crossed 10K Kilometres with Punch EV in 5 months. AMA. Completed 10,500 km with the Punch EV Empowered LR. While the usual Tata fit-and-finish issues persist (such as panel gaps), the driving and ownership experience has been fantastic. I'm also loving the cost benefit, saving about ₹7 per km compared to an ICE car. The only issue I've noticed is that after about 2,000 km, the seatbelt chime and indicator sound disappeared, and the service center has been unable to diagnose the problem. 4 10 replies
