    Twisty Puzzle shop in Bangalore

I’ll be here for the next 24 hours and would love to see if there are any places I could get rare/weird looking twisty puzzles from(not the usual 3x3, 4x4, pyraminx, megaminx etc). On google I saw a puzzle shop called StyleZit but I think it’s closed down right now since it’s mentioned so and I tried calling them with no avail. Anyone with any such experience/ knowledge about such rare finds please do let me know if such shops are here in Bangalore. It needn’t be a dedicated...

    Wednesday night life

Hi 👋 What is happening on a Wednesday night in Bangalore? Not upto date on the night life scenes since I live abroad. Have couple of friends visiting and it has to be a Wednesday. Looking for something with a good crowd, energy and dance music( with lyrics ). Preferably west ( Orion ) or central areas ( MG road ) . Even Indiranagar is fine. Thanks 🙏

    Let's form a girls gang!!!

Hi women of Bangalore ! I recently came upon a post similar to this and I think my response got lost in the sea of messages. I am 25F, working from home. I do have a very healthy circle of close friends that I’ve known since childhood but I also want new friends . Friends that I want to make as an adult, to share this older and more self aware version of myself . Let’s get to know each other ! I am a very basic woman, probably...

Can I raise a request for getting a footpath constructed

I stay at a moderate traffic lane road with a small lane running parallel to my apartment. The lane can accomodate two cars crossing each other but no pedestrians can walk. However, there is a muddy patch the entire length of the road but it's muddy, lower than road height and basically one can't walk on it. So basically we have cars and people all on the road and it's risky and many times there's jam on this lane if a car is parked. A footpath would be ideal...

    Office Bond

Hi all, I started my career in a private organisation since 2022. I have a bond of 3 years in the organisation. If I fail to full fill i would be liable to pay the half of my CTC as mentioned in the offer letter. Is this thing legit ? The organisation doesn't have any of my original certificates as well. Also for the ones that joined in 2023 or later are having bond of 2 years. Can I ask the management to lower my bond term to 2...

The festive season is here, and with Christmas around the corner, bakeries and baking companies are flooding the market with delicious, much-loved plum cakes. The air is filled with the aroma of spices, dried fruits, and nostalgia! After trying a few brands, I’ve found my favorite—Elite Plum Cake. It’s rich, and absolutely delightful. But I’d love to hear from you—what’s your go-to plum cake brand? Where do you buy it in Bangalore? I’m on the hunt for a cake packed with cashews, raisins, and cherries. (Just the thought of...

Atul Subash saga - society is progressing, but men still face stigma over divorce. Bengaluru native shares his experience

Life lessons for men - Reflecting on Atul Subash saga and story of facing anti dowry threat when divorcing IAS officer's daughter in America years ago Like most of us, I was shocked to read the last words and the video recorded by Atul Subash who took this life after talking about his ordeal of separating from his wife, and the futile fight for justice dealing with a corrupt system. The laws like anti-dowry laws, divorce laws, rape statures are all meant to protect vulnerable women, which we must...

Is it worth filing a case against a major hospital chain for spreading bacteria post surgery ?

Hello all, I am not very familiar with the medical system. Post surgery we found out that there was bacteria infection and it has spread from the hospital. I am not someone who would like to strain doctors (feel they are already too worked out) however coming from a large well reputed medical facility I feel this is not right, after charging so much and not maintaining basic min required hygiene. Let me know what you all think
