Why do Indian parents have the same high expectations but not provide the same quality of life?

How do they have high expectations for their kids but don’t provide the same quality of life? A daily wage laborer wants his son to be an IITian, and a teacher wants his daughter to be an IITian. It’s like investing a small amount but expecting high profits. How is that possible?

Is it just me that I resonate more to Indian right wing but absolutely despise the American right wing?

I've noticed that I kind of resonate with the Indian right wing to some extent, but I absolutely cannot stand the American right wing—because, honestly, it feels like it has some of the most brain-dead takes out there. (Leave alone the religious takes from alt right wing of both the countries). At the same time, I find myself supporting the American left (but not the alt-left). Is anyone else in a similar position? Or do you think there are fundamental differences that make this stance contradictory?

Why north Indians migrating so much to MH and south indian states ?

I was looking at stats , literally 27 lakhs UTTARPRADESH people migrated to MAHARASHTRA alone for jobs . 1Cr+ bihari people migrated to MH, GUJRAT and SOUTH INDIAN STATES . Supporters of the Yogi government claim law and order, infrastructure has improved. Opponents deny this and claim attacks against minorities has increased instead. Indian cities recieve too much dust even beautifully paved paths that exist have this problem and a neighborhood with no construction at all also has dust collection in the houses.
