I can't find the source of this, but I remember reading about this a few years ago.

I read a lot of history, so you know I am obviously intimately familiar with Bihar's history. What Bihar is today in 2025, is nothing compared to how great Bihar was before the British arrived in India. And interestingly Bihar was one of the first states to fall under the British rule. Apparently during the freedom struggle, when most...

Anyone interested in eating Mutton Curry on Sundays?

My dad cooks the best Mutton Curry ever. Since I'm a mutton lover, I've eaten across the top restaurants across Navi Mumbai and a few in Mumbai too. However, no one cooks like my dad. He was in Merchant Navy and has a passion for cooking and spent 40 years sailing with chefs from across the world. I think that made his cooking extremely good. Anyway, we don't have the funds and energy to start a full blown Cloud kitchen(yet) but we would love to cook some extra on...

Natives of NE, u must strive harder to unleash ur genetic potential (Book Edition)

As mentioned earlier u need a sharpened and liberated mind along with a tough body to ultimately reach ur goal. If u don't have a sharpened mind, u will never be able to perceive ur threats accurately and it will ultimately jeopardise the culture and identity of our NE region. That's the ultimate need of the hour. We already know how our region and identity are being targeted by outsiders with vested interests. While some of u guys know that I already posted some lecture series to start the...

No Response from Authorities, Local Workers Threatening False Complaints – Where Are My Taxes Going?

I've emailed every single relevant government address, including TNPCB, the District Collector, Swachh Bharat, and even the Chief Minister’s office. Not a single response. Tried talking to the municipal cleaning workers who were supposed to do their jobs, and in return, they threatened to file a **false harassment complaint** if I take this to the authorities. What kind of a country is this? Where are my taxes going? No local municipality or panchayat is taking responsibility for this mess. The **panchayat office is never even open**. They keep passing...

Is Uber Auto turning Cash-Only final nail in the coffin for Online booking of Cabs and Autos

Online Auto Booking was preferred due to, No hassles of negotiations with the driver. Easy Book and go model Ease of payment And no to least communication with the driver. Now, Uber has come with the policy of Cash-Only payments, on-spot negotiations with the driver before starting the ride etc. If I have to do this, I can just stand on the road side and catch a auto why should I book on Uber. Is this the start of the end for Online booking of Autos? Source: The Hindu...
