Atleast people are talking about him and learning about him. Most people only knew he was shivajis son and died at the hands of mughals. I used to think the same and unfortunately had to admit my dad in Govt hospital last Friday for an emergency. Quality has increased by leaps and bounds. Cleaning premises 3-4 times a day, quality food for in-patients, surplus nursing staff and duty doctors and students (Singareni Medical collage - started last year) visiting to learn and x-ray & ultrasound etc are all free of cost (as it should be). Barring few incidents(few doctors still living in a mindset that they are doing us a favour by treating us not knowing that our tax money is their pay), overall it’s 1000% better than what it used to be. For a total of 6 days being admitted in hospital, I would’ve paid 3-4 lakhs in Apollo or citizens in Hyderabad (based on past experiences).


While the services are better, still long way to go interms of instilling empathetic behaviour in doctors from day 1, especially people who work with underprivileged people who cannot express themselves better. Despite all this, i still believe 60% of allotted funds are scammed. Purely because key medical equipment (ct scan, better OP offices etc) is missing.

I am sick of DMK. Such a useless government 👏.
