I'm actually over on the mainland and used to (up until ~2021) had a services based business doing experiential marketing, and in some ways can relate since it was like fighting for surival every day, week, month, up until the pandemic dealt us a death blow.

I'm freelancing / doing contract work currently so not having to worry about a team (aside from myself), but am facing similar challenges as I specialize in branding and design.

My read on things is that investment in new tech/design is tightening up as everyone is on edge, and if they do, they try to do it inhouse (AI is definitely eating our lunch for some tasks), or go with someone with an extensive track record.

It sounds like you and your team aren't using LinkedIn at all—it might be a good chance for you and your team to jump on, make a big show of posting about your studio and story and having everyone share it.

With our company in the past, I'm personally not a fan of spending money with anyone to do sales as it's never quite worked for us—at least in our experience, the people we worked with didn't understand our business so in the end it was always better for us/the founders to do sales instead.

One thing you might try is to do outreach into the US or other English speaking markets—if your website and branding is tight, sometimes you might find someone who is thinking about needing the services you offer. I've done cold outreach before to ~200 people but out of those 200, 3 needed what we offered and we closed a few projects. As for finding them, I just used regular Google/Linkedin/tried Fiverr once to find leads.

Lastly, be kind to yourself! It's just hard right now and you might be doing the right things, but it could be just bad timing. Good luck!
