I am sorry but comparison with Animal is futile. You didn’t like Animal, which is fine but it was a well made movie. The maker took a huge risk with the story, action, and the portrayal of a negative character on screen. This all paid on the box office.

As for Pink, that was a pretty good movie as well. For any movie to do a big business on the box office it should have something for the audience to make it worthwhile watching on the big screen. The music, background score, that bigness, dialogues, and a tightest script. A movie may be noble but if lacking on the bigscreen worthiness then it is destined to fall flat. Even though I am a cinephile myself, there is no way I can go to theatre to watch a courtroom drama (unless it’s Damini, ofc but because of the heavyweight dialogues and the screen presence of Deol), rather watch it on the OTT.

Not a fault of people that liked Animal on the big screen, which imbibed all the elements of a big screen experience.

Udupi-Manipal-Malpe...

1. Awesome AQI

2. Except in some parts of Manipal or beach houses in Malpe, rents in Udupi are affordable

3. Excessive public transport..

4. 24/7.. power, internet and water..

5. NH-66 connects TVM-Mumbai. An hours drive from Mangalore airport which has excellent connectivity to Gulf.

6. Other advantages: awesome food (both veg & non-veg)

7. Many tourist places, temples, trekking spots, wildlife sanctuaries etc. within driving distance from Udupi

8. Only minus point: religious fanatics (all 3 sides: Hindus, Muslims and Christians).
