    Survival for me. To pay rent and bills and food and some entertainment although that doesn't cost much.

    I live in the USA. We can't just hop on gov't benefits here, you have to qualify for it. Still, I think it's actually better mentally for me to work because I never felt great long term with endless free time. Life feels more balanced to me with some work.

    21 is very very young. The years go by pretty slow so don't be surprised if at 24/25 you get sick of the lifestyle and want to do something new.
