So getting labour of small work can take time. I end up doing the smaller fixes myself.
Masonry, again very few and you'll only know about the good ones by enquiring with other local people.
Without any proper alternative public transport options, having your own vehicle is still required here.

Cause I'm sure if you go to the nearby bus stand,you'll find many daily wage workers ready to take up labour work. Yes, I do agree that skilled workers like carpenter or plumbers are hard to find here.

Most Goans are satisfied with what they earn and they don't need someone else telling them how to live. So if you're having problems with how people live here, maybe find a better place that suits your lifestyle. Let Goa be "Sushegad"
