**What is your favorite city in India, and what makes it special to you?**
Bengaluru.
Where do I begin? The weather. The breathable air. The cosmopolitan culture. The culturally rooted, dharmic Kannadigas. Truly a global city that contributes the highest tax to the country in spite of getting nothing in return from the centre. Some of the best talent and brightest minds, creating and thriving in the most fast-paced startup environments solving real-world problems. Where a random guy on the purple line might be a CEO. Truly an aspirational city, for the best of the best.
Complain about the traffic as much as you want. For those of us who plan our commutes or live close to our workplaces, there’s no place like Bengaluru. There’s no place like home❤️

why is regionalism so strong in india? i am not saying it is not a good thing but for some people, their "region" is more important that India and its sovereignty. what is the reason for this and how can we reduce this mindset?
I guess it reflects the diversity of the region and the inherent problems of trying to forge a single nation by merging diverse regions into one.But the problem we are seeing today is largely the result of politicians manipulating people over the years.
>common civilisation? the concept of bharat has existed for centuries in the scriptures.
I think this isn't as strong a reason as you think. While the concept of Bharat may have existed in scriptures, it is unlikely that it reflected what the general population felt at the time. Communication was painfully slow in medieval times and most people spent all their lives within a small area. So, a regular individual living in say, some area in the present day Andhra Pradesh, had no reason to have some feeling of brotherhood for some one coming from the far north. To this individual, there is no real difference between someone from Lahore or someone from Colombo. They are both outsiders with very different customs and practices (though there may have been some common things).
Having the concept of Bharat in scriptures is one thing, and having a general feeling of belonging to a single entity among the entire population is a different thing altogether. The former does not really imply the latter.
With this in mind, unifying against the British was really one of the major factors that lead all the diverse groups of people across the country to work together. Once they built a nation, the onus was on the leaders and politicians to make sure that all these groups of people were properly represented and it was their duty to ensure that no conflicts arose between them.
However, our politicians used the divide between people to fill their own pockets and preserve their positions of power. Instead of managing the issue, they fueled the flames between people. Hence what we see today. -

Keywords are not something you should artificially inject into your content.

This year's Adivasi Mela was a disappointment for me
I left from Patia to Ekamra hata on Sat, searched for parking but did not get it. Then decided to come back to home without even getting down from car. It took me 2 5 hrs. I could have reached Puri within this time. Most of the major traffic signals were switched off and we're manually managed by police who failed spectacularly in traffic management. Worst Adivasi Mela in years. Looks like the new govt is not capable of managing such events.
