Terrible Experience with Home Lane - Extremely Disappointed
I recently was in the market for home interiors, went to one of these companies who were blaring ads on Instagram.
A simple 3BHK Interiors, no frills, no bells and whistles was quoted 13L first, then 4 levels of discount was provided and final price came to 8.4L and they were willing to go more.
I enquired out with some referrals, executed the same design at 4L, all inclusive including civil work associated with the interior work.
When they threw a 5L discount, I was sure i was being taken for a ride! Never going to go back to these guys. -

Is there any such thing as repenting for your sins in our culture?
It is said that doing yoga, or even devta upasana gets rid of any karmic balance

Is Rava healthier than oats?
Lol, who should be suggesting?
Let's face it, most people don't know much about food, what is healthy and what is not. They either repeat what their parents and grandparents said (home cooked food is better, coconut oil/ghee is healthier than refined oil) or what companies say on Facebook and whatsapp (oats is health, millets are healthy, olive oil is healthy). Many times companies say things through celebrities where you don't realize it's an ad, making it more believable. Over time more and more people start repeating it, making it sound more true.
No food is healthy or unhealthy on its own. It's your overall diet which is healthy or unhealthy. If you eat only oats or only rava, it will be unhealthy regardless of how they compare with each other. You should have a variety of food, limit the amount of sugars and saturated fats, and incorporate a significant percentage of fruits and veggies in your diet. That's all you need to do for a healthy diet. -

As a founder, how often are you relying on generic AI tools to help with business decisions?
We all know AI will eventually be very useful, but it is advancing so quickly that whatever is available today will likely be made obsolete a few months from now by the next leap forward.
Furthermore, AI is suffering from a tyranny of choice problem. If there were fewer well regarded AI companies, we could more easily make informed choices on which AIs to use. But there are hundreds if not thousands of AI startups and most are empty promises, each faking it to make it when in reality most won't survive tge next few years. It's exhausting. Ironically, we need an AI to tell which AI startups are bullshit.
What do we as founders specifically need? Trustworthy AI(s) that can not only reliably do what we tell it to do, but also understand the big picture context of our prompts, questions and requests and then tell us things we didn't know that we needed to know to successfully complete our overarching goals.
In that way, AI fills a true advisor role in addition to being our admins and assistants.
