I am deeply technical and well beyond what most pass themselves off as experts in AI. I don’t entirely disagree with some of your sentiment but frankly I believe AI and more specifically LLMs are great accelerators for existing talent. I am about to start yet another project and will use AI, with some risk, to rapidly identify the failure points. It has a place just like any tool in the workshop, it may even become one of my favorites, but at todays level it is still the practitioner that makes it valuable. 

Out of curiosity I think I will see how fast I can validate my next concept. That being said it is more important in my mind to see what we can do with these new tools and with the extra time that they give us to solve more important things. 

I hope that I will be able to ask my team to work less hours, pay them more and be more productive. I also hope that there will be more curiosity and creativity. I’m not entirely an optimist, but I think that used responsibly these things can change how we create and work in ways that support our overall well being. 

I’m just some dude tho, so the only way to find out will be to try it and see what happens.
