Few months before I came across this guy on social media " Anand Malligavad" he is known for restoring lakes and waterbodies all over india , predominantly in karnataka....he recently revamped the gokuleshwar lake and trust me it looks beautiful af....since then i have been thinking every now and then if we can do something like this in pune / associate with him and volunteer for pune....if some of us are interested we can come together and take the initiative....attaching link below of his interview and his work :

I’m a parent, and I think the first thing we need to do is make sure that our children are comfortable enough to confide in us whatever they want to. Every passing generation gets more comfort/luxuries than the previous one, and subsequently more fragile mentally as a result I feel. And so it’s absolutely crucial that we are there for them at their weakest points. They MUST feel that their parents are there for them no matter what.

Also, in parallel to that, I think we must also start early in our journey to make sure that the kids are used to a bit of stress. So in pursuit of being “friends” with your kids, I also don’t think we should be ultra lenient. They must be able to take a NO from their parents cos they’ll definitely hear a lot of NOs in real life. It’s a fine balance. We have to be firm with our kids to the point that they know that life doesn’t offer them everything on a silver platter. Our job is not to create the perfect life for them, cos the rest of the world is not perfect. We must be close enough to them for them to feel confident to confide in us their painful secrets, while also being firm enough so that they know that things won’t always be smooth

Easier said than done, but we must try and do this.
