As of today noon i have received two SMS updates on my mobile number, saying share your delivery code \*\*\*\*\*\* with Bharat Gas Executive for LPG delivery. I brushed it off considering its a possible scam because iam not a Bharat gas customer or any LPG gas cylinder customer, but after 30 min I got another update your LPG cylinder has been delivered with a booking id \*\*\*\* . So i went online searched Bharat gas portal and checked the status by entering my phone number and found out its been registered to some Mrs Rekha. Do any of you had any similar incidents and how did you solved it, as of now I have lodged a complain on their customer portal, but haven't seen any official email id for Bharat gas.


Update: Some representitive called me from Maharastra and spoke in Marathi, and when i told him i dont know the language he cut my call. After that i called the toll free number on BPCL and they spoke in English so we had a convo and he told me he has forwarded it to his manager so he will call me. After 10 min an officer called me from Maharashtra BPCL office and updated me my phone number indeed is using by some consumer in Maharashtra and they have asked that person to update their contact ASAP. So when i asked him when can i expect an update he told me he will update me on monday.
