This is worse! Poorest management from the government. Asking more residents to use the cauvery connection?? Why don't they themselves make sure each building gets cauvery water onlyy and stop the borewell distribution in the areas which have access to the cauvery (central part of the bangalore) so that areas in the outskirts such as ORR, Bellandur, Marathalli, Whitefield will at least get water from borewell as all these area all dependant on borewell water itself with zero access to cauvery. Ideally people living in those areas should get cauvery water too, but what could you expect with already exploited water resources and government negligence to these areas. Definitely not a place to settle down but still I see many working professionals shifting here permanently while the government continues on doing nothing on this issue. On the other hand, Rich ass people with their big bungalows and cars wasting water while common people specially on the ORR stretch suffer the most.
