I wouldn't trust local mechanics. Brother Had a 390 bs3 which kept getting low oil pressure warning, gave to multiple mechanics through references and only ended up getting a hole in the engine casing. Took it to the ktm service, replaced a faulty gasket, never had the problem again.
Based on my experience from owning 2 d390 bs3 since launch, I'd suggest sticking with the authorized service.

Regarding the incorrect billed amount, drop an email with Bill details to the relevant service email ids and they will come running to you with the refund.
