because young girls dont really seek love and commitment, they seek thrill and excitement. seeing a guy who is somewhat a "bad boy" makes them feel they're in a movie. they want to "fix" him. and the guys who are respectful and kind and nice...well they just want them as good friends. trust me i am young too thats why i know how girls my age think.
