Renting in Bangalore with Family – How Do You Handle the Hassle?
r/kothibanglacheck is going to have a field day with this post...
1. You dont move every year. Once in 4-5 years should be good.
2. Your rent is going to be 1/3rd of your EMI. Save the 2/3rd for downpayment for when you eventually buy a house.
3. Packers and movers provide all the support for packing/unpacking furniture. And for small and delicate items, it takes like a week max. -
How many of you suffer sexual abuse by own family members and how do you overcome that trauma?
Sexual abuse is very common, especially against women because most of the abuses are not considered a big enough deal to report to the authority. So much so that some harassments are normalised in India. For example staring and groping. Imagine how a young girl feels when a disgusting middle aged man sexualising her.
Sadly, this is irreversible trauma. Nobody forgets the abuse for their entire life and it haunts them for life. The regret, guilt and the trauma is unimaginable. It fucks up the mind of the victim. I wish no one faces these abuses. It is brutal, inhuman and unjust.
