Imma be real I use engine braking a lot. For context my rear brake pad is basically brand new and my front brake pad is like 30% used. I've completed about 11k with handful of long trips and day to day commutes. Completed third service as well. The service center guys were stunned lol. But it's also because how I ride. I don't ride slow or fast but I ride very consciously. Ive very rarely had a situation where I had to use my brakes (unless it's to bring the bike to full stop in neutral). Engine braking is essential skill imo. Its not a substitute for actual braking. But if you got good instincts and Road sense it's enough for day to day use. However it also depends on the type of bike. For instance engine braking is very different on a high revving engine vs a squared off engine like mine. Yes engine braking is a tool, it's not as effective as actual brakes. It's not going to save you from a crash. What it does is keeps your bike really stable and allows for minute control over speeds.

Definitely. If it’s a high quality link then you are fine. In the old days, if you had multiple links from the same domain, it’d give off a spammy signature but a few links from the same domain here and there doesn’t hurt unless its not relevant.
