I don't believe that when Google says, "low-quality content," it means the same thing as when normal people say it. I'm not even sure if Google actually knows what it means.

A lack of links pointing toward the page would be the 1st match for Google as to what it means. Page rank is using other web pages to grade content. If we normalized Google's lexicon, low-quality content means low-link content.

On the on-page side, keyword cannibalization is still a Google pain point. It would not surprise me that they modified the algorithms to spot more types of cannibalization related to AI fingerprints. Somebody should test AI content with spelling mistakes added and see what happens?
