Not Sure if I am Getting Scammed
there are definitely some red flags here based on what youre describing. $3k monthly + $7.5k quarterly for linkbuilding is quite steep, especially if youre not seeing results after 5 months.
heres what id look out for:
- ask them for detailed reports showing exactly which links they bought and on what sites
- request a breakdown of their monthly optimization activities
- get clear metrics on keyword ranking progress month over month
one thing to note: SEO typically takes 6-12 months to show real results, BUT you should still see steady progress in rankings and traffic, even if small.
for reference, good SEO agencies should be:
- doing technical SEO audits and fixes
- creating quality content targeting your keywords
- building RELEVANT backlinks (not just bulk buying)
- optimizing existing content
- doing competitor analysis
- sending detailed monthly reports
if theyre just buying links without doing the other foundational work, thats a problem. id have a serious convo with them about expectations and deliverables. dont be afraid to walk away if theyre not being transparent or showing progress.
hope this helps! lmk if u have other questions -

Google is not a search tool anymore - it has become an internet catalog.
100% tags are not the issue.
Duplicating your content on Medium is not a good idea, but it should lead to such massive desindexing.
Either it's a bug from Google and your website will come back by itself or there is a technical issue. -

Tired of people saying SEO is dead
I work as a technical SEO at a large company, and there are so many things that fall under my job description that aren't even really SEO as such, but have more to do with managing content, some UX/UI stuff, and basically being good with a complex CMS. i think a lot of people went to school and thought you can either be a web developer or something "soft," like a writer, but there is just this entire world where the technical aspects of a website and the public-facing content side meet that need skilled people to execute. whether or not that's SEO in a strict sense, I don't even know, but having a clean, well-organized site won't be any less important in the future. -

Your thoughts on group riding?
BS. This is not riding. This is more like a parade. And a nuisance. Hogging the lanes and treating the roads like it’s only for them. -

Lost my father and I don't about my ancestoral property in bihar madhubani! Need your help
Here is what I know.
Search for related docs in the Bihar Bhumi portal. You can get a katiyan and a map of your village easily on that portal. Search for the name of your dada or dada ke papa's name in that. Do contact some people from your village who were close to your father or your grandfather and who can be trusted. Ask them about the lands, like the khata number and plot number. Every land can be uniquely recognised by plot numbers so do ask people which lands belong to your grandfather. Also to know plot number you can look for tax receipt of the land. Each land pays some tax and receipt is generated. So search the portal by entering your grandfather's name in the portal both in hindi and english and try also try multiple combinations like if your grandfather's name is Ramdev Singh, try combination like Ram Dev Singh, Ramdev Singh, etc both in hindi and english.
Buy a new notebook and start noting down each small info. Don't try to remember, I highly suggest you to note down things.
Also I want you to be aware of online land surveys in bihar. Do search for this on YouTube you will get a lot of information.
I would suggest you do a deep research about these.
These are much more complex than you think.
Do contact some gov employee of this field but after doing your own research. I repeat do your own research before contacting anyone else your uncles can bribe them easily if uncles are greedy.
You can DM me if you want info about some specific thing. -
