Do you think Odisha should follow Kolkata time zone?
There is a think tank active in India that wants to introduce multiple time zones and day light savings in India. Be aware. DST doesn't save shit -

what are you guys thoughts about trading in the long term?
You’re young, so I’d say why not give it a shot? If you fail, you still have a lot of time to fix things and get a real career.
Just some things to consider, which most retail traders who want to take it full time don’t consider:
Markets are dynamic and they change. What works in the markets now will not always work in the future. There’s no guarantee you’ll be able to remain profitable as business, economic and market conditions shift. A profitable strategy now will eventually become unprofitable at some point and will need to be shelved. There is no single trading strategy that remains consistently profitable forever. You WILL NEED to adapt to changing conditions. There is also no guarantee you’ll will be able to adapt. There may be a new technology, or economic shift that will make your current strategy, and overall approach, ineffective. You will lose your edge at some point.
So, if you accept the above as true (which it is), then consider a hypothetical: you’re 40 years old, and the market has changed so much that you’re no longer consistently profitable. What do you do?
- how will you plan for your future when your next income isn’t guaranteed? The stress this will put on you and your family will be crushing. No woman wants a man whose income isn’t stable or guaranteed.
- how will you adapt to these changes in conditions, and what will you do if you can’t adapt?
- what if you resign that you can no longer profit in the market, and now need to find another career. All your peers will have surpassed you both in education and work experience. You’ll have no work experience on paper to show a potential employer. You’ll have no degree or higher education, and you’ll be 40 years old competing with 20 year olds just getting out of school (because the only jobs you’ll be eligible for are entry level positions)
These are all real factors that you WILL encounter should you continue on this path. I’m not trying to discourage you, but give you the realities of your situation.
Trading is one thing, but unless you make it super , super rich, (highly improbable), you’ll be stuck. And almost nobody gets super rich trading on their own. You’ll be banking your entire future on the false hope you’ll become a statistical anomaly. Not smart risk management.
Since you’re young you can afford to make mistakes and repair them with few consequences. Time is your greatest asset. Always have a backup plan. Always try to have multiple streams of income. -

Shocking revelation by a Gurgaon local
I have personally witnessed Manu Sharma ( The guy who killed jessica ) partying in Mojo every saturday [ DT CITY CENTRE ] while he was supposed to be in jail. I was deejaying there at that time. So I have seen a lot of those things.
If you are new to Gurgaon, you don't know when the money came to these guys in 2005/6, it has improved a lot now. Nobody does kabza on a plot less than 500 yards. People who have the money and power to kill people and get away with it are becoming more sensible.
It doesn't mean that things like these don't happen. But it happens everywhere. Every part of India. -

What he really means is that he'll spread lies to shut down the government, eliminate children's cancer research and Social Security, and pocket billions in tax cuts.
It’s worse than taking a wrecking ball to the government for tax breaks. Far worse.

He was a graduate of NITK Surathkal as per a post from their alumni association on LinkedIn. He had a successful software company and has offices in Bengaluru and Pune. Sad to see such a bright mind and his entire family wiped out this way.
