Basically its an ideological rift, Shiras is from one side of the spectrum whereas Shumi etc are on the exact opposite.

Shiras works on motorcycles whereas Shumi reviews them.

Shiras displays intellectual arrogance whereas Shumi gives out convincing opinions.

It ultimately depends on what school of thought you subscribe to.
