You will get the hang of it just like I did if you don't deactivate it and keep it on. After 1.5 years with adas i barely get a warning beep let alone emergency breaking like this. All you have to do is maintain enough distance from the vehicle infront.

And in 1.5 years it's become my habit and it comes naturally to me when to slow down the vehicle and what distance to maintain between the vehicle infront so as to not activate adas. It's kinda like I imagine my car is a couple of meters longer in length.


Not that you did anything wrong but if I were driving in that situation , I'd have naturally out of instinct applied brakes much earlier to let the activa guy go through without triggering adas.

PS: I've stopped caring if some one tries to sneak in between the long gap I maintain between my car and vehicle infront. I have grown patient I slow down and let them do it. I've learnt the only difference it makes is i arrive at my destination a few minutes later than expected and I am fine with it.
